The Cornett Family

May 20th, 2013

When I drove away from this photo session, I couldn’t stop crying. This is my very last photo session in Germany. It has been an incredible ride, and after 146 photo sessions, I ended my career here with a perfect photo session. The Cornett family is so dear to me. Amber started as a client, and like most, turned into a friend, and then into my assistant. I have watched her family grow over the last two years. I’ve been able to watch her son, Killian, grow into a “Big Kid,” and was there to welcome Declan into the world.
The sun was all Amber wanted in her pictures, but considering this crazy spring we are having, she was asking a lot.  But for about 4 hours on Tuesday, it was so beautiful, and the weather was amazing. The boys were so cute and so much fun. Darrell and Amber were so relaxed and loving. I loved every second of this photo session. It was picture-perfect.  Thank you Cornett Family for being so amazing, and for being a part of my life!! Enjoy :)

The Snyder Family

May 9th, 2013

I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I am that I was able to spend the evening with Trav, Miranda, and their adorable daughter Emmalyn. The last time I saw Emmalyn, it was for her first birthday last year. She has become her own person and is such a character. I love it!  Trav and Miranda are such wonderful parents to her and you can see how much they adore their daughter.

Their photo session was a dream! We spent the whole time laughing and joking around, it was so incredibly easy to capture these special moments between the whole family. They were just so relaxed and loving. I am so happy I was able to have this amazing family in front of my camera one more time before I move to Kentucky. I wish the Snyder family all the happiness with their up-coming move as well. Enjoy. :)

Collection of My Film

May 9th, 2013

At the beginning of this year, I decided to really focus on shooting more film. I’m a firm believer that “If you are going to follow your passion, you should do it so it fills your heart with happiness.” Well, film fills my heart with happiness and it gives me butterflies!! I’m crazy in love with it.
My clients, aka-the coolest people in the world, have been more than willing to let me grab a few film photos during their photo sessions. Now I have these incredible film photos from my photo sessions that I’ve been dying to show! Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy :)

Megan’s Photo Session

The Williams Family

The Grebener Family

May 7th, 2013

I was so pleased being able to gift one more Mom2Mom giveaway before I moved. It is really exciting meeting with the winners and being able to give them their photo session. The Grebener family was so perfect for this giveaway. Karen is expecting her second child, a girl, and looked incredible! Karen and Mark were the sweetest couple and so sweet with their son Samuel. They chose Kusel castle for their location, and with all the many beautiful backdrops the castle affords, it turned out to be the perfect place. I couldn’t have hand-picked a better family to win. I wish the Grebener family the very best with all the up-coming and exciting changes, and wish I could be here to meet their daughter! Enjoy. :)

The Moyo Newborn Photo Session

April 28th, 2013
One of the most incredible aspects of my job is when I get to meet with the most amazing people and take part in the unforgettable moments of their lives.  Megan looked stunning during her pregnancy, but it’s nothing compared to the pure love on her face when she’s with her beautiful and brand-new daughter, Lylah.  This photo session was so sweet and heart-melting, and in a word:  perfect.  I loved every second of it.  I’m so excited to watch Megan bloom into the incredible mother we all knew she would be. Enjoy :)

The Williams Family

April 24th, 2013

This is my second family photo session with the Williams family, and I was so excited to see them again.  Their first session was so wonderful and I couldn’t wait to see how this amazing family was doing after a year.  Patrick and Kat are the sweetest couple, so it’s no wonder their four children are so delightful.  Their daughter, Chloe, told me when she grew up, she wanted to be a photographer like me.  Naturally, I let her help me out and she had some really creative suggestions!  What a wonderful start to the session.  Logan was so kind and helpful to his baby sister, and Sophie showed me some of her mad jumping skills.  I’m really in love with this whole family.  I wish the Williams family could follow me to Kentucky, but, being in the military world, I’m hopeful that we will see each other again.  Enjoy :)

The Knollenberg Family

April 9th, 2013

This photo session is bittersweet for me. The Knollenbergs are dear friends of mine, and this photo session was just 3 days before they PSCd to Hawaii. Desiree and Andrew had become some of my closest friends; no really, they lived right up the street from me so we were really close to each other. Ha!  Their two daughters are some of the cutest kids ever.  Plus, they think I am awesome, so that shows how smart they are. I was really honored to do their last photo session in Germany. They are an amazing family in front of the camera, and I loved every second of their photo session. I wish the Knollenberg family nothing but the very best and a lifetime of happiness. See you soon. Enjoy :)

And now for the news you are really here for…………….

IT’S A GIRL!!!!!

The Dolor Family

April 9th, 2013

Have you ever met a family and thought “I hope I am as cool as these people!”? Because that is exactly how I felt when I first met Ashley and Eugene and their adorable son, Euriah. I loved working with them; they couldn’t stop laughing and smiling. Ashley is expecting their second child, a girl, and was just glowing the whole photo session. Ashley and Eugene were so relaxed and natural, so it was easy to pick that up with the camera. Euriah was cracking me up showing me his “Hulk face” and telling me about Spiderman.  The family was pretty amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better photo session. Enjoy :)

The Pifer Family

April 8th, 2013

I LOVE when a family picks a location for their session that means the world to them. I know years later, they will look back at the pictures and immediately be taken back to relive all the amazing memories they have had there. So I was so happy to hear that the Pifer family had a location that was truly historical for them. Chelsea and Nathan were such a sweet couple, so it made complete sense that their son, Noah, was a doll. They were such a beautiful and sweet family. Even with the cold weather, they were totally game for anything and I loved it! I wish the Pifer family luck with their upcoming move, and wish for many more smiles to come. Enjoy :)

Priscilla Photo Session

April 2nd, 2013

Some people are just born with a talent in developing “style” and Priscilla, the writer and fashion extraordinaire behind Fashion Polizei, has it in spades.  She is such a wonderful person and was so easy to work with.  I had her work her magic on my closet and now even I’m looking fabulous.  You absolutely must check her out.  She was amazing in front of the camera.  She laughed the whole time and was a complete natural.  I am so lucky to have such amazing talent in my life and in my work.  Enjoy :)
